The Prince / Princess of Azuria Quest Summary
Chapter One: Azuria
While studying the Egg Quartz in a region ravaged by crystallization, the Prince/Princess of Azuria and captain of the Rangers, is visited by Simon.
Following Simon's words, the protagonist speeds back home on a Rathalos to seek an audience with the King.
Meanwhile, the Palico Rudy searches for them in the Castle Base.
The Prince / Princess of Azuria Walkthrough
[1] Head back to the Castle.
Shortly after Simon's arrival, the protagonist stops investigating the Egg Quartz as he/she is reminded of the royal duties that must be accomplished today.
Leave Broadleaf Basin by following Simon. There are short tutorials on the basic controls such as moving and adjusting the in-game camera.
[2] Cross the Mirror Lake.
Ride the updraft and take flight with Rathalos!
After a cutscene introducing the rest of the Ranger Crew, the Royal Felyne Rudy approaches the player upon landing.

[3] Proceed to the Throne Room.
Head past the Catavan Stand and a busy guard should point to the gates that lead to King Arken.
When the meeting ends, the Prince/Princess shares the details with Simon back at the Base before being introduced to the rookie and new addition to the group, Thea.
This starts the next Quest, "Audience".
