Chapter Five: Lazlion

The Rangers find Aenshin’s egg and finally reunite with Amara, but they are suddenly surrounded by the forces from Vermeil.

Just as the egg is about to fall into enemy hands, Aenshin appears and threatens everyone in the area with a deadly crystallizing mist.

Hearing the echoes of life from within the egg, the Prince/Princess impulsively sets off to chase the rampaging Elder Dragon.

[1] Go to the Depths of Terra Nativitas.

The Rangers join Corbin and the Survey Team Captain in heading to the Terra Nativitas: Depths.

There, they finally find the Aenshin Egg. The Survey Team Captain confirms that it is alive.

The Captain removes her headgear and everyone is shocked that it's Lady Amara. She is still dumbfounded by their reaction, since she suffers from amnesia.

Before anyone can process this revelation, Fiero, Queen Clarissa, and an army of Vermeil battle-bound monsters arrive to steal the Egg.

Refusing to hand over the Egg, the Rangers prepare to defend themselves against the enemy.

The fight does not push through, as Aenshin arrives again after being lured in by the large number of battle-bound monsters.

[2] Fight the Elder Dragon, Aenshin.

The team is left with no choice but to battle the Elder Dragon that is still rampaging.

Step	How to Make Aenshin Retreat (Second Encounter)
1	Aenshin starts the fight with a crystallization attack called Blightgale Expurgation. Gaul mentions that withstanding the crystal erosion is going to take a lot of energy. Petrification is an abnormal status caused by Aenshin. This ailment can be cured by riding a Monstie. Its effects are that Stamina is no longer recovered, and if inflicted again, the afflicted target loses 1 heart.
2	Just like the first fight during the "Father and Child" Quest, Aenshin uses its Blightstone Active, Grand Scourge, and Grand Upheaval moves.
3	Wait for the Elder Dragon to be Exposed before going all out on the offensive. While in its Normal State, counter its Technical Moves with a Power Attack or Skill to win during a Head-to-Head.
4	After dealing some damage, Aenshin switches into its Enraged State. Take note that it starts to use Power Attacks at this time. It can also buff itself with the Grand Purge before using Blightflash Expurgation.
5	Keep these details in mind and watch the team's remaining hearts while depleting Aenshin's HP to win the battle!

Aenshin retreats after the fight. The Rangers try to find the Egg and Simon appears to tell them that he has it.

Upon seeing Amara alive, Simon confesses that he's Kris from the past. He says that Vermeil offered him a cure for the crystallization, and that is why he has been helping them.

Simon intends to break the Aenshin Egg, but the protagonist reminds him that he is still a Ranger despite everything that has happened.

He stops himself from doing so and leaves the area. Vermeil also gives up their plan after hearing the echoes from the soon-to-hatch Egg.

The Rangers continue on their journey to the last mission, "Inherited Dream".
