The player and Gaul team up to go against the scummy rent practices of the Egg Hunters.

This is available after visiting the Ministry of Eggs and finishing Gaul Ch. 2 Side Story.

[1] Talk to Gaul at the base.

Gaul tries to rebuff the player for offering some help when Maury, the 4th of Gaul's Felynes, makes an appearance. Maury reports that the Egg Hunters want Gaul to go to the Mistry of Eggs MEOW. Seems like the Egg Hunters jacked up the price of the base space the rangers have been taking up when they learned how much they needed it.

The player offers to go with Gaul to meet the Egg Hunters. Maury agrees with the suggestion, saying that there is strength in numbers.

[2] Visit the Ministry of Eggs.

Go to the Ministry of Eggs and talk to the Guild Collector. Gaul asks for a discount and is met with an appalled tone. He does give a proposition where the rangers get rid of the monsters near this newly discovered egg quartz.

Not wanting to do a little song and dance every time the guild needs something in exchange for rent, Gaul poses a condition to accepting the offer. If they complete this quest, that covers their rent forever. The Guild Collector hesitates but gives in.

[3] Clear out the cave.

Find the entrance to the cave at the Egg Quarry. Go down the path to find the cave.

Keep on moving until the end of the cave where the Egg quartz deposits are.

After the cut scene, a battle will start. Defeat the Shrouded Nerscylla!

[4] Return and report to the client.

The player expresses to Murray that they're worried that Gaul is running himself ragged but would never divulge his pains to the others. Murray talks about Gaul's father, Vargas, who was a flagship Rider of Azuria. In Gaul's first mission, Gaul's father died saving him. Gaul quit the raiders soon after and focused on horticulture instead. Two years later, the king called on Gaul to return to the rangers.

They return to the Ministry of Eggs. The Guild Collector tries to one up the team but the Furtive Five act as witnesses to the whole previous exchange. They threaten the Guild Collector a bad time if he does not keep his end of the deal.
