Eleanor wants to tour around Azuria and also to look for materials. What exactly does she plan to do?

[1] After listening to Gaul and Murray during the Tracks Main Quest, talk to Eleanor at the base.

Eleanor wants the player to give them a tour of Azuria. Rudy suggests to take her to the north of the castle's overlook.

Eleanor is amazed by the sight. The player remarks that they have this for now but they fear about what the Encroachment may bring. Eleanor says that a sight like this is rare in Vermeil due to how bad the situation is there. She then suggests that they should gather materials.

[2] Look for the materials Eleanor is looking for.

Look through the Spyglass to find locations to gather materrials. Navigate to the icons with exclamation marks and both the Eleanor and the player will comment on whether it is a good place to go. The items can be collected in any order.

Gather Witherweed by the eastern lake.

Collect Molted Gumshells from attacking Paolumu with breath attacks.

Catch Sucklebugs in the island south of Azuria Castle.

After gathering all the resources, proceed back to the camp.

[3] Let Eleanor cook.

Eleanor proclaims that she will cook using these ingredients. While the player says to give it a chance, Rudy is very skeptical.

Can't see why! Doesn't it look absolute appetizing? :) A Vermeilian treat!

In all seriousness, the dish is a Vermeilian mainstay for the reason that bounty is limited in Vermeil and they have to do with what they have. While Eleanor simply wanted to share her local cuisine, the player and Rudy both understand better the severity of Vermeil's situation.
