|---|---|
| Backlash | Attacking a crystallized part of a Feral Monster may result in a Backlash Counterattack. Different monsters unleash a Backlash while in different states, so be careful of whether they counter before or after Transformation. |
| Feral Attacks | Feral Monsters are capable of using Feral Attacks, but these can be weakened by destroying the monster's crystallized parts. In addition, a Feral Monster's Wyvernsoul Gauge will be more easily depleted after using this type of attack. |
For the first part of the battle, keep aiming for its Head to avoid Backlash.
Next, players can choose to break the Feral Chatacabra's Right or Left Arm to get rid of its remaining Crystallized Parts.
When the battle is over, watch the cutscene where the Rangers hatch the Monster Eggs at the Base.
After this, the "Gathering Storm" Quest begins.
