Reunion Quest Summary
Chapter Four: Sacrosanctum
After taking down the Arkveld, the Captain is confronted by Simon, who suggests they team up to defeat Aenshin.
The offer is rejected, leading to a fierce battle between the twin Rathalos. When neither side can gain the upper hand, Simon eventually leaves the Sacrosanctum.
In the middle of the confusion, a strange and ominous flash of light tears across the sky, and the Rangers finally sets off for Azuria.
Reunion Walkthrough
[1] Head deeper into the Sacrosanctum.
The Rangers receive a letter from Ena regarding a meeting to be held between Azuria and Vermiel to revise the covenant.
Before they leave Serathis, the Prince/Princess can't shake the uneasiness about the area up ahead. The team decides to check it out first, along with the Survey Team Captain.
[2] Defeat Arkveld.
Inside, they must defeat the awakened guardian of the Sacrosanctum, Arkveld.

| 1 | Begin by chipping away at Arkveld's HP using Power Attacks. The team quickly notices that the monster absorbs their attack and makes it stronger with every hit. |  |
| 2 | Stay alert for its Blade Crawl (AoE attack). After that, it performs Elemental Release to enter its Enraged State. |  |
| 3 | During its Enraged State, Arkveld is vulnerable to elemental attacks. Aim for its Chainblades to deal high damage. |  |
| 4 | After its powerful Berserk Blade move, the Rangers set up a plan to charge up Rathalos' attack to counter Arkveld. |  |
| 5 | Wait for Thea's timing to use Ratha's Savage Fireball skill. If the team fails to do this, Arkveld executes another Berserk Blade that deals serious damage. |  |
| 6 | The team can then focus on depleting Arkveld's remaining health to finish the battle. |  |
[3] Meet Simon Again.
The entire group is shocked to encounter Simon once again. He invites the Prince/Princess to join him in defeating Aenshin using the Twin Rathalos, but they refuse to treat Monsties as mere weapons any longer.
As Simon departs the Sacrosanctum, return to Azuria and start the next Quest, "Homecoming".
