A guard spotted a monster heading towards town but was too afraid to take action. It's up to the player to protect the townspeople instead.

This quest is only available after reaching Galyad.

[1] Talk to the Cowardly Guard at the area south of Mirror Lake.

They saw a monster heading towards town but was too scared to stop it. They ask the player to slay it for them.

**[2] Defeat the monster.

Travel to north of Mirror Lake and slay the Anjanath.

[3] Report back to the Cowardly Guard.
