Equip Acid Arrows to inflict corrosion during the fight. Koo can also equip a charm with a good level of Corrode to fully take advantage of the boss's weakness.

[2] Learn Taurus' attack patterns.

The table below contains details on the Taurus' different attacks, including when to time your parries, dodges, and counterattacks.

AttackDescription
Horn SwingTaurus' horn swings
The boss performs a standard horn swing that can be chained up to three times. Be careful when it flees after this attack, as it can also follow up with a Triple Tail Spike.
Erupting Root SpikeTaurus' erupting root strike
Taurus repositions at a distance before slamming the ground with its hooves, sending burrowing roots to strike the player's location. Perform a perfect dodge by evading when the red flash appears.
Triple Tail SpikesTaurus' triple tail spikes
The creature flicks its tail and launches three spiked projectiles at once. Watch its tail as it runs away after performing a horn swing, as it may follow up with this attack.
Root Spike BarrageTaurus' root spike barrage
Taurus slams the ground twice before several root spikes burst upward. Perform a dodge just before it lands its second tap to evade the attack.

[3] Use ranged attacks to deal extra damage while it is on the move.

Taurus prefers to stay mobile and frequently distances itself from the player after attacking. Use your arrows to deal extra damage while it retreats. Acid Arrows are especially effective for filling its status meter, staggering it, and dealing chip damage.

[4] Use Koo's Skill to close the gap.

Executing Sakura: Javelin can enable you to quickly close the distance and follow up with a Helm Splitter while airborne.

Taurus Second Battle Guide

[1] Eliminate the golems first before focusing on Taurus.

During the second fight, the beast is accompanied by three golems. Prioritize these smaller enemies to prevent the fight from becoming overwhelming.

[2] Learn the beast's new moves.

The table below displays two additional moves during the second fight.

AttackDescription
Horn RushTaurus' horn rush
The boss manifests a massive horn on its head before charging toward the player. Dodge at the last moment, just before the horn hits, to execute a perfect dodge.
Four-Hit Horn Swing
& Rising Strike Combo
Taurus' four-hit swing and rising strike combo
Taurus glows brightly before unleashing a four-hit horn swing followed by a horn uppercut. The four swings have the same timing, while the uppercut has a slightly different one. Guard as soon as the dust clouds on the ground appear to parry the final hit.

Taurus Third Battle Guide

[1] You fight a similar beast during Chapter Eight.

MedalTVBeastofReincarnation20260808230538190.png

The duo encounters another Taurus residing deep within a cavern in the Wasteland Region: Crater Zone. It has the same moveset and weakness as the one in Chapter Four.

[2] Equip more items that deal Acid damage or inflict corrosion.

If you explored enough, you'll have more useful items now than you did before the first fight.
