Inukami River Zone Summary
Emma and the group make their way to the Inukami colony until they're ambushed by invisible golems, damaging Bauera's leg as a result. Emma clears a path for Brad as he repairs Bauera. Sadly, Brad is killed by Kunai, and Emma is forced to fight her. The duel ends with Emma falling into a ravine and suffering amnesia as a result. What's worse is that Koo is missing. Emma pays a visit to Overseer Gigi, who tells her that a Crimson Malefact is terrorizing the colony, and it is up to her to stop it. Emma finds and defeats the Crimson Malefact, who is actually Koo. Reunited, they make their way to the next area.

Inukami River Zone Walkthrough
[1] Clear the Area
Defeat the invisible golems and make a path for Brad.
Keep pressing forward while defeating more golems until you trigger a cutscene.
[2] Duel Against Kunai and Kirin
Brad is killed by Kunai and now she sets her eyes on you. Prepare yourself and try to take her down! The boss fight ends with Kunai pushing Emma and Koo off a cliff.
[3] Gather Information on the Crimson Malefact
After recovering, head first to the Overseer Gigi who tells you about a Malefact wreaking havoc nearby. Afterwards, talk to 4 villagers to get information about the Crimson Malefact.

The last villager will tell you that a scout golem must have seen it. That golem is located further out of the colony near some trams.
[4] Head to the Crimson Malefact's Lair
Make your way to its lair by grappling on to one of the trams. There will be some golems in your way but they shouldn't be a problem
Before fighting the Crimson Malefact, take a rest at the camp nearby. Don't forget to upgrade!
[5] Defeat the Crimson Malefact
Head into the Crimson Malefact's lair and defeat it!
The fight will end in a cutscene where it turns out that the Crimson Malefact is actually Koo who has gained some newfound power.
