Known as the "one-person, one-dog action RPG," the game becomes a hybrid RPG. Emma serves as the action RPG side and Koo for the turn-based RPG. Experiment on their abilities that will match you style.

Parry and dodge attacks as Emma. As Emma, the combat is action-packed and focuses on the player's ability to parry. Emma's parry allows the player to use Koo's Bloom Arts ability.

Turn-based RPG

Once Emma has parried enough and the FP gauge is filled, she can command Koo to unleash its Bloom Art's ability. The turn-based system enters the combat as time slows down to let the player choose which ability to use.

Bosses

Beware of colossal bosses! The player will encounter a boss for each area, testing the player's skills. When it feels like the battle is too tough, do not forget that you have Koo as a companion. This is when its assistance is needed.
