The rifts have been strengthening Avici. Shoot them with the Oni Bow to weaken the connection while still dealing with mobs. Otherwise, the nearby Genma can regenerate health, become stronger, or even go into a Blazing state.
[2] Acquire the Firebird Flute.
After Rift #2, obtain the Firebird Flute from the chest. When played, a bird of fire emerges and surges forward.
