What are Oni Armaments?
Oni Armaments are the special, Oni-forged weapons Musashi calls on mid-fight. You don't equip them like a regular weapon this time around. Fill your Oni Power gauge, and you can summon one for a burst of damage, then it's back on cooldown until the gauge fills again.
How the Oni Power Gauge Works
Fill the Oni Power Gauge by absorbing Blue Souls from defeated enemies. Once it's full, you can unleash an Oni Armament's special attack, which depletes the gauge and locks the weapon until you refill it.
Enemies leave behind different types of souls, each color-coded by use. Absorb them with the Oni Gauntlet to activate their effects.
Red souls are used for making various enhancements and appear more often when enemies are executed with a Break Issen.
