Bloodbath on the Bridge Summary
With the Malice in the area now cleansed, Musashi presses onward to Gojo-ohashi Bridge to face Benkei, where he learns more about himself, Shizuka, and the Man in White.

Bloodbath on the Bridge Walkthrough
[1] Head for Gojo-ohashi Bridge
Be sure you are ready, as for this quest there will be a tough boss fight.
Head towards the waypoint. Your destination is the pathway surrounded by corruption.
On your way to the bridge, civilians are running away from whatever formidable foe lies ahead.
[2] Defeat Benkei
Approach the bridge. There, Musashi encounters Benkei, quite possibly his toughest opponent yet.
In Japanese legend, Benkei was a formidable samurai and monk who remained standing even in death. This boss fight reflects that, as he takes little to no damage from Musashi's attacks. His armor, however, is a different story.
Deflect and parry his attacks to break his guard and target his armor. Time your dodges and counterattacks right, and his armor will shatter. Be careful, though: the legendary Benkei carried more than one blade, and he won't hesitate to brandish them in his second phase.
After Benkei is defeated, Dokyo appears to taunt them, only to get decked by Yoshitsune.
Shizuka and Yoshitsune talk, and we learn that Shizuka was married to him in her past life.
Yoshitsune taunts both her and Musashi, declaring he will take over the living world.
Back at Rokudo Temple, Takamura wants to go take on Yoshitsune himself, but Okuni talks him out of it.
Shizuka then pleads with Musashi to defeat her husband, and Takamura echoes the request. Musashi accepts the mission, partly because it means eventually getting the Oni Gauntlet off, but also because it sounds like fun.
