Oni Refuge Walkthrough
[1] Press forward and obtain the Oni Bow.
After activating the Oni Glyph, you will pass through the wall and land at the Oni Refuge. Follow the path forward.
Open the chest to get the Oni Bow. This allows you to attack from afar and open up certain mechanisms. Use the bow on the gate ahead to open the path. It has unlimited ammunition.
[2] Get to the stage.
Enter the gate and follow the path. Leap across by just moving forward.
Going left will be the long route, but you can take out the archers aiming at you. To move on quickly, take the right path. Use your bow to open the gate.
Moving onward, Musashi will find these floating rocks with cores in them. Shoot at the cores to bring them down. This may destroy structures or crush enemies.
In the larger area, shoot the cores to get rid of the archers and to bring the wooden ramp down.
Turn left at the forking path.
Enter the ruined house and activate Musashi's Oni Vision. Approach the Glyph that shows up. Press forward onto the wonky bridge that appears.
At the next forked path, go right.
At the end of the staircase, turn right and sidle your way to the other side.
Follow the path that goes downward and then shoot at the top of the gate block to make it float up.
Climb up and circle to the cliffside. Use your Oni Sight and activate your Oni Power to create a bridge.
Let yourself drop and follow the righthand path. Shoot the gate block through the opening between the rocks.
Return to the path with the block and press forward. Save at the Spirit Mirror and get ready for the boss fight.
[3] Defeat Daidara - Slavering Gutton.
Daidara will drop out of nowhere, hungry for Oni. He's determined to fight Musashi once he notices that Musashi holds the gauntlet that hoards souls.
Daidara is straightforward with his attacks. Parry them to accumulate his stamina bar. To Musashi's left, there is a wall he can run through. Daidara can get his weapon stuck there when he tries to attack Musashi, making it a good opportunity to get some hits in.
Daidara will have a second phase after sending both himself and Musashi down below. Wait to parry Daidara's larger hits instead of his faster ones! This will help in breaking his stamina bar.

| When there are souls in the air, boss enemies can absorb these in order to make themselves stronger or unleash damage-heavy attacks. Make sure to absorb them first instead! |
This walkthrough will be updated with the full release. For now, it reflects the game as is experienced with the demo.
Demo - Hidden Boss
This marks the end of the demo for those trying out the game. While the two story bosses have been defeated, you may also tackle the secret third boss of the demo, Byakue. In order to unlock them, you must use Issen 10 times in the demo!
While the progress here does not carry on to the full game from the demo, the demo will give you the Charm: Kubi Akari as a gift that you can receive when you play the full game.
