The Curse of Kiyomizu-zaka Slope Walkthrough
[1] Rid Kiyomizu-zaka Slope of Malice
Use the newfound Oni Strength to get rid of Malice Barriers.
Fight Genma along the way down.

[2] Seal the rifts.
Before sealing up the rifts, look for nearby plants of malice to reduce the fog of malice around. The red fog decreases Musashi's HP as he runs around it. You cannot take it down by attacking the bloomed flower, as the source is at its base.

[3] Defeat Byakue - Hundred Defilements.
For the second rift, the secret boss from the demo, Byakue, will make an appearance.
When it charges attacks, make sure to dodge backwards to avoid its follow-up attacks. You can go for an Issen meanwhile while it leaps into the air and strikes down with its axe.
If you have some distance from it, use the Oni Bow to make sure it doesn't recover its stamina so that you will have an easier time breaking Issen with it.
Don't forget to absorb the rift after you defeat Byakue.
[4] Destroy the last plant of malice.
Cut down the last plant to rid the whole area of malice.
You can now take side quests called "Chance Encounters". These can reward you with items for upgrades down the line.
