Nue Summary
Nue is a boss encountered in the Nijo-jo Castle, during the What Lurks in the Shadows main quest. It is a Legendary Chimera with two heads.
Nue Attack Patterns

| Forward Rush |  It rushes towards the target, attacking with its head. |
| Regrow Tail |  It regenerates its broken tail and imbues it with lightning. |
| Lightning Orbs |  It uses its tail to spit multiple lightning orbs at the target. |
How to Beat Nue
[1] Learn its moves and the best counters.
Executing a perfect dodge slows down time, leaving the boss vulnerable to your attacks for a short period.
Parry the projectiles to hurl them back at the boss, dealing damage to them instead.
[2] Focus on breaking the tail.
Nue's tail, or its other head, is breakable. Cutting it off prevents it from using its long-ranged tail moves.
The Oni Vision has a skill you can unlock that lets you detect which parts of your enemies are breakable.
The easiest way to break the tail is by shooting it with the bow. Nue will occasionally use the tail to defend itself and block your attacks, leaving it vulnerable to being broken.
Once the tail is broken, it can regenerate and gain lightning properties. If you do not want to deal with that, refrain from cutting it off instead.
