Sasaki Ganryu Summary
Sasaki Ganryu is a fellow swordsman and rival of Miyamoto Musashi. He too has gained the powers of the Onimusha and now crosses path yet again with Musashi as a test of its power. Win the duel at Kiyomizu-dera Temple!

Sasaki Ganryu Attack Patterns
| Attack | Description |
|---|---|
| Step Back |  Used as a setup for another attack. |
| Sliding Slash |  Ganryu slides sideways before making an attack. |
| Lunge |  Ganryu lunges at you. |
| Direct Slash |  Another follow-up attack to the Step Back move. |
| Foot Stomp |  A two-part attack where Ganryu tries to stomp on you then slashes you. |
| Aerial Slash |  Ganryu will leap into the air then strike down |
How to Beat Sasaki Ganryu
[1] Be on Guard
Blocking allows you to read Ganryu's attack patterns and know when to parry, block, or dodge accordingly. When he goes for the grab, make sure to use your Evade button.
[2] Parry then Punish
Most of Ganryu's attacks could be parried which can drain his stamina and builds up the stagger bar. Once he's staggered, go for an Issen Break.
