The mysteries of Kyoto are curious cases Lady Murasaki wants Musashi to investigate. The Mysteries are available after finishing the Main Quest What Lurks in the Shadows.

The Blessed Man is available after finishing The Light of Vengeance.
The Blessed Man Walkthrough
[1] Speak with the Strange Man.
Talk to the man. He asks Musashi to duel with him. He believes he's blessed by heaven because he has never lost a fight. Lady Murasaki says that the man is surrounded by a peculiar malice.

[2] Follow the man.
Head to the location below to find the strange man.
Musashi finds a messed-up house and a couple. They explain that the man came in, won the fight, and then took off with their belongings. He says the man said he'll be at Nenbutsu Temple.
Fight the Genma outside the house.
[3] Go to Nenbutsu Temple.
Find the man inside the temple.

Fight the Genma and get rid of the flower of malice.
[4] Chase after the strange man.
After following the map marker, head eastward and enter the area with malice.
The man will be in front of a shrine that he says is where he prayed for his blessing.
Fight the Genma.
Unfortunately, it appears that the man had a parasitic Genma that was feeding from the inside. The Genma protecting him were simply protecting their comrade.
The Blessed Man Rewards
Solving this mystery will give you the following:
- Leather x 2
- Fine Silk Cloth x 1
- Charm of Purification x 1
