Aidan explores a ritual chamber to retrieve the Genesis Configuration and must pass through sewers and forests to survive being chased by the transformed Charlotte.

Take Back the Genesis Configuration Walkthrough

[1] Retrieve the Genesis Configuration.

Start your way by going to the left path. You'll know you're on the right path once you start hallucinating.

There will be a room where a couple of other cultists will then exit through a door.

There will be a small hallway that will have a save point and a disguise that you can use. After putting on the disguise, go inside.

[2] Escape Charlotte.

Inside, the cultists are conducting a ritual to summon the Cenobites. Charlotte, the woman held captive, transforms into a grotesque monster. You got the Genesis Configuration, but now Charlotte is after you.

Make a break for it! Keep running until you see two pathways; take the one on the right.

Charlotte will stop chasing you once you reach the green door at the end of the path.

[3] Get to Safety.

Keep moving until you reach the next checkpoint, which is the sewers. Before entering that door, a new enemy will attack you.

The next main area has two paths; take the one on the right to continue the mission. The left path has some loot that you want to get.

The creepy old woman from before approaches you again. She introduces herself as Zora Beckett and offers you items in her shop that you could use.

After buying the things you need, save your progress. Fight your way out until you reach a forest. The Genesis Configuration will then show you a new ability: Throw. There will also be a van that has a locked trunk that needs a key. Start your search by going to the door with the 'Walking Dead' style warning painted on top.

There will be some enemies that you need to take care of in this area. The key is located on top of a dead body. No need to backtrack as the door ahead leads you back to the stairs heading towards the van.

Looks like Charlotte found you. Time to run.

When you come out of the tree trunk, head to the left path.

Keep running until a cutscene plays where Charlotte pushes you off a ledge. You will then arrive at the next area, which is the cemetery.
