Difficulty in Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival

The game has four difficulty settings. Each one changes the enemy spawn rate, the resources available, and the saving mechanic.

Easy

The recommended difficulty for those not used to the genre of horror survival or who want to be more focused on the story of the game:

  • Experience the game's story without significant resistance.

Normal

The recommended difficulty for the average player:

  • A balanced experience.
  • Autosave is available.

Hard

For those wanting a little more challenge to their game or those who are experienced in horror survival games:

  • Challenging combat
  • Limited save locations
  • No autosave

Hellraiser

For those who want to test their skills and prove their superiority in the genre:

  • Extremely difficult combat
  • A lot of enemies
  • Scarcity of resources
  • Saving done with limited Save Tokens
  • Only selectable with a New Game

Additional Settings

When you go to the options menu, there are certain configurations you can toggle to make the game easier or harder for you.

Aim Assist

Aim Assist can be set to Default, Off,or Strong. This is an assisstive feature when handling firearms in the game.

Death Hints

Death Hints can be set to On or Off.

This can be found in Gameplay, under Game Settings.

Interactive Objects

The Object Highlight and Interact Indicators settings can be set to On or Off. Both will show whether something can be interacted with. The former is for objects, and the latter is for points of interest.

These can be found in Interface, under General Settings.

Boss Health Bar

The Boss Health Bar can be set to On or Off. This helps you know how much health the boss has left in the battle.

This can be found in Interface, under HUD Advanced Settings.
