Prologue Walkthrough - Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival

Prologue Summary

During an intimate moment, Aidan and Sunny solve a mysterious puzzle box. Aidan injures Sunny with the box, which opens portals to another dimension. Sunny walks into the strange corridors, and Aidan follows her.

He sees Sunny nearly swallowed by clones of himself, then wakes up back where they started. Strange figures appear, led by a man with pins covering his head. He invites Sunny to join him and his colleagues, and she enthusiastically agrees. Aidan watches the man use chains to flay Sunny open. When he tries to save her, he gets knocked out.

The demo also starts with this chapter.

Prologue Walkthrough

[1] Adjust Difficulty Levels and Settings

Start a new game and choose your difficulty. You can change it later, unless you pick Hellraiser. Harder difficulties also limit your save points. You can adjust more difficulty and accessibility settings in the options on the title page.

[2] Search the Corridors

After the cutscene, follow Sunny into the corridor. Here you learn the basic movement controls as Aidan. In the rooms with chains, follow the lights to keep moving forward.

Crouch to squeeze through small openings.

The corridors loop and always end at this crack in the wall. Keep going until a figure that looks like Sunny turns away from it.

Sunny goes right, so go left instead, toward the creepy monster.

In the next corridor, a square switch on the floor opens the door ahead. Open it from a distance, then sprint through before it closes.

Another switch opens a second door. This one opens from the top, so slide under it. Once you are through, turn right and follow "Sunny."

Scary things appear here, but you don't have to fight them.

[3] Get Out of Your Room

You end up back in your room. Go forward. Repeat this loop until writing appears on the wall. Once you see the writing, head toward the darkness.

Press on and take the heart.

[4] Use the Cube

You will now be transported to a new area. When you see two posts, the one on the right will start to light up. Use the cube to gather energy from that post and transfer it to the post on the left.

Raise the glowing cube circled below, then move the platform on the left under the cube towards your side. This will make a bridge to move forward.

Approach "Sunny" at the ominous-looking bed..

[5] Watch the Cutscene

The infamous Pinhead appears, and Aidan is terrified. Aidan gets knocked out, ending the prologue.
