The Secrets of Mega Evolution Walkthrough | Pokemon Legends Z-A

Mega Rings, Mega Stones, and bonds with your Pokémon... It seems there is much for you to learn before you’ll truly understand Mega Evolution.

The next day after discovering the mysterious occurrences of Rogue Mega Pokémon in the Lumiose City, Vinnie will invite you and Urbain/Taunie to his office.

[1] Talk to Urbain/Taunie, then set out for the offices of Quasartico Inc.

・Go outside and talk to your friend. They will challenge you to a battle so they can feel the power of Mega Evolution.

[2] Give Absol a Mega Stone to hold, then battle Urbain/Taunie!

・To prepare a Pokémon for Mega Evolution, have it hold a specific Mega Stone via the Main Menu.

・Similar from the first match you had with them, Urbain/Taunie of Team MZ will use 2 of the unpicked starters but they are now evolved and Level 25! (Bayleef, Pignite, or Croconaw)

・For their last Pokémon, they will surprise you with a Level 26 Mega Manectric. Win the match easily by triggering Absol's Mega Evolution!

[3] Go to Quasartico Inc. to meet Vinnie.

Lumiose News Alert: The number of Wild Zones (7, 8, 9, 10) has increased! Check them out first for any new Pokémon if you'd like.

・Make your way to Quasartico Inc. and you'll see two Dedenne guards that you need to fight.

[4] Go to the battle court to see what Vinnie has to say.

・Head inside the court beside the building and talk to Vinnie.

・You'll receive an announcement for your next Promotional Match Opponent. Oh look—It's Vinnie! They want to assess your fitness as a Mega Evolution Trainer, and if you win, you'll be promoted to Rank F.

[5] Get a Challenger's Ticket, then return to Vinnie for your promotion match.

・Collect 6,000 Ticket Points from Battle Zones to get a Challenger's Ticket.

[6] Defeat Vinnie!

・Prepare your team before battling Vinnie of Quasartico Inc.. He'll have these Pokemon:

・Houndoom (Level 30)
・Sharpedo (Level 30)
・Buneary (Level 30)
・Mega Drampa (Level 32)

[7] Head into the Quasartico Inc. office building to learn the whole story from Vinnie.

・After proving your worth to Vinnie, he'll give you the Special Promotion and Safeguard TM.

・Join him inside the office building to learn about the crisis Lumiose City is facing.

[8] Leave the Quasartico Inc. building for now.

・You'll be stopped by the Receptionist before leaving Quasartico Inc. Remember the Mega Shards you've been collecting? You can exchange them here for Mega Stones!

[9] Stop by Nouveau Café for refreshments.

・Accompany Urbain/Taunie at the Nouveau Café. You will learn about Canari here and how big of a fan Naveen is of her.

[10] Return to Hotel Z for a strategy meeting.

・Go back to Hotel Z and have a meeting with your teammates at the lobby.

・Vinnie shared three cases of Rogue Mega Pokémon in the city. Slowbro is in Aymlis Park in Bleu District, Camerupt in Jaune Sector 3, and Victreebel in Magenta Sector 9.

・AZ will hand over a Mega Stone of your Starter Pokémon after the strategy meeting is over.

[11] Take care of all three cases of Rogue Mega Evolution

・Team MZ will split up, and you must assist each one of them. You can tackle these three missions in any order.

・Complete A Rogue Mega Slowbro, A Rogue Mega Camerupt, and A Rogue Mega Victreebel Main Missions.

[12] Return to Hotel Z

・After a long day of pacifying Rogue Pokémon, head back to Hotel Z. At the entrance, the Level 33 Zygarde will stop you for a brief battle. It will then give you a Pebble—an underwhelming but mysterious item you should hold on to!
