The starting point for the Legend of the Golden Plate side quest is in Fuzzy Village.

Help the Collector Fuzzy by volunteering to explore the dungeon.

Head to the Crimson Castle.

Teleport to the nearest bonfire and follow the marker until the lift but don't activate it. Engage the armored enemies and clear them instead.

Head back to the Collector Fuzzy and collect the rewards.
