How to Unlock Fishing (Sea Angler) Full Guide and Details | NTE (Neverness to Everness)

In NTE, there's a fishing system that players can unlock through the Hethereau Hobbies menu. It's pretty simple to get into—follow our Guide to start reeling in fish!

Step	How to Unlock Sea Angler
1	After completing the "Good Business, Better Treasure (Prologue II)" Main Quest, players can take on several Tutorial Quests to unlock and level up the City Tycoon feature: ・Good Morning, Hethereau ・New Commission ・Legendary Driver
2	Once Legendary Driver is completed, the City Tycoon reaches Level 3 and the Sea Angler becomes available under Hethereau Hobbies.

With that out of the way, how do players understand the basics of being a fisherman? Well, the "Re: Zero–Starting Life as a Fisher" Guide Quest should cover most of it!

Step	How to Catch a Fish
1	Go to a Fishing Spot. For this Quest, players should go to the Caltrop Lake. Note: Check out our Hethereau Map for all the available spots!
2	Interact with the chair. Then, select a Rod and Bait. As beginners, players start with the Fishing Rod I and Universal Bait.
3	Use the Hook Button to cast a line. Wait for a fish to bite, then click the Hook Button again. Keep reeling and hold the cursor near the center of the moving bar. Completely deplete the Fish's Stamina to catch one! Keep an eye out for the Fishing Line. If it hits zero before the fish's stamina does, the fish escapes.

Aside from being a relaxing side activity between Quests and Anomaly Commissions, fishing in NTE is also a great way to earn Fons and Scale Coins by selling at the Fish Market.

Players can also collect different types of fish for their Fishing Index and earn Annulith as a reward. Don't forget to check which fish are available at each spot before casting!
