Good Business, Better Treasure (Prologue II) Full Walkthrough and Details | NTE (Neverness to Everness)

The player visits Bridge Crossing with Mint, en route to the Anomaly Hunters HQ/Antique Shop Eibon. They are received as a special kind of Anomaly Handler - an Appraiser.

They take part in their first Anomaly Commission with the rest of Eibon for a photo studio. Through investigation, the team determines that the anomaly stems from a forgotten film reel and contain it. The owner, Kodak, is very grateful for their work and takes photos of the whole team free of charge.

[1] Head to Hankaku Square with Mint.

Cross the railway and head straight to the store with a giant octopus sign. From there, turn left and follow the path to the square.

[2] Sync with Wetheimer Tower.

Go near the black obelisk and interact to sync with the first Wetheimer Tower in the area.

[3] Go to Hankaku Street.

After syncing with the tower and conversing with Mint, follow the staircase and go to the street.

[4] Get to Eibon without Mint.

Interact with the ReroRero Phone Booth to unlock the teleporter. Next, enter the building with a blue clover-shaped window to get to Eibon.

Press Ding Ding to call the person in charge.

[5] Defeat Taygedo.

After being shrunk by the Hospitable House, the trio must face Taygedo or risk being crushed!

When Taygedo is in a Broken state, he drops three toys. Touch these to inflict additional damage!

[6] Get acquainted with your accommodations and rest.

Once properly introduced, follow Adler to the dormitory to check out the player's room.

Get some rest before heading back to the main building.

[7] Meet with the other members of Eibon.

Once rested, go back to Eibon and talk to Adler. Pick up the Phone and dinner on the table, then head to the second floor to speak with the others.

Talk to Edgar, Nanally, and Sakiri.

[8] Listen to the Anomaly Commission request.

Finally, a client! Go downstairs and accept an Anomaly Commission from Kodak, who is seeking help investigating a mysterious occurrence at his studio.

[9] Go to Film Orbit Studio together.

Leave Eibon and follow the group into town. Walk past the laundromat and take a left turn at the end.

Head right at the noodle shop and follow the path to the studio.

Speak with Kodak to learn more about the anomaly.

[10] Investigate the different parts of the first floor.

Start by inspecting the three items at the reception area.

Go to the office area after and inspect the files and computers.

Go examine the rest area. A cutscene will occur near the stacked TVs.

Then, head to the makeup area and discuss the findings with the group.

[11] Investigate the photo sets on the second floor and defeat encountered Oddities.

After the discussion, proceed to the lobby on the second floor.

Subdue the incoming enemies before moving on to the objectives.

Inspect the camera and computers in the first studio.

Next, enter the second studio and examine the camera on the ground. Clear the enemies that appear after leaving the set.

In the third studio, interact with the floating photographs. Afterward, approach the curtains near the red door and wait for a sudden transition.

Upon interacting with the camera, the viewfinder appears again, and snap summons two Oddities into the area.

Nullify the enemies before moving to the next objective.

[12] Investigate the Equipment Room.

Lure the viewfinder to the red door to erase it and gain access to the equipment room.

An Oddity waits behind the wall. Defeat it, then inspect the camera on top of the shelf.

Snap! The viewfinder suddenly transports the player to a distorted space called the Anomalous Realm. Navigate the path to find a way out.

Interact with the swirling film negatives to leave the realm.

[13] Investigate the third floor.

Next, go to the third floor. Defeat the incoming Oddities, then proceed to check each room.

Enter the first studio and examine the sword prop.

Afterward, approach the walkway in between the pillars. The studio props suddenly vanish and Oddities spawn. Eliminate them to continue to the last studio.

Examine the floating photographs in the third studio. A cutscene reveals that the team suspects the Anomaly may be in the basement.

[14] Check out the Basement.

On the way to the basement, the viewfinder drags the player back into the Anomalous Realm. Traverse the maze and find the exit.

While descending the stairs, the player is sent back once again into the realm. Defeat the three Oddities and get escape.

Continue downstairs and enter the basement.

As the team investigates, the room warps and an Anomalous Entity, Film - MANISH, manifests.

[15] Defeat Film - MANISH.

Most of its attacks are telegraphed. Dodge when a red plus-shaped twinkle appears. When it uses its special attack, a Warning Indicator appears. Parry this and follow with a Critical Riposte to instantly break the opponent.

[16] Say goodbye to Kodak.

After defeating the entity, say goodbye to Kodak before going back Eibon.

[17] Return to Eibon and rest.

Travel back to Eibon or use the nearby Phone Booth for a much quicker method.

Finally, go to the dormitory and get some rest to complete the quest.
