| [1] After obtaining the special magic needle, head to Hitoyori in the Age of Budding. |
 |
| [2] Follow the questline and talk to Lyudmila about the three sages to get the Lustrous Bell. This is needed to find them. |
 |
| [3] Talk to the Ailurophilic Traveler to learn where one of the sages is. |
 |
| [4] Head to the Grandtree and talk to the cat there. |
 |
| [5] They will reveal themselves as Wynat the Tawny Sage and will give you Wynat's Key and the First Mystic Writings. They will then tell you that the next sage is in the Age of Reconstruction. |
 |
| [6] Talk to the Ailurophilic Traveler during the Age of Reconstruction and learn that everybody has gathered at the tavern. |
 |
| [7] Head to the tavern. Heurich informs everyone that hordes of Beastmen plan to attack their village from both the Western and Northern gates. Heurich has obtained the Moonmirror and plans to defend the western entrance while the others focus on the northern entrance. Baikan refuses to take part in it and tells people to flee instead. Some join Heurich and some join Baikan. Elliot decides to help Heurich. |

| [8] When you're ready for battle, talk to Heurich in the tavern. There will be several waves of Beastmen coming to attack so make sure to prepare potions and weapons. |

| [9] Talk to the Ailurophilic Traveler again. This time, they will tell you where the next sage is. |
 |
| [10] Go to Mount Phoenix and find the cat there. |
 |
| [11] They will reveal themselves as Boyne the Ebony Sage and give you Boyne's Key and the Second Mystic Writings. |
 |
| [12] Visit the Ailurophilic Traveler in the Age of Magic. He will tell you that Fausta is looking for Elliot. |
 |
| [13] Visit Fausta near the entrance of Weyzn. It seems some thaumata have malfunctioned and become rogue. Helping her will thrust Elliot into three short battles with different thaumata. Don't forget to destroy their cores! |
 |
| [14] Report back to Fausta at Ikarus' mansion. |
 |
| [15] Talk to the Ailurophilic Traveler again to learn where the sage is. |
 |
| [16] Go to the Geared Ruins and insert the two sage keys into the statues. |
 |
| [17] Retrieve the weapon in the chest. |
