What are Magicites?
Throughout Elliot's adventures, he can find gems called Magicites as the ages past. Elliot can use these Magicites to enhance his weapons to make them stronger. Each weapon has their own Magicite type that buffs them in different ways. Whether it is by increasing crit rate or increasing bomb drops, Magicites can turn the tide in a fight significantly.
Where to Get Magicites and How to Farm them
Magicites can be found primarily in two ways.
The first is through chests. Some chests in the world and through the ages can contain Magicites. This is limiting, however, so if you need more magicites, the best way to get more is by getting Magicite Fragments.
Farm Magicite Fragments by defeating enemies, who will drop fragments to collect. After collecting enough fragments, they can be taken to the Magicite Shop in order to fuse the fragments into Magcites.
The Magicite Shop
The Magicite Shop and its merchants are found throughout every age and can help Elliot with his Magicites. In the store menu, you can choose either to Fuse, Disassemble, or upgrade your Magicite Box.
Fusing Magicite
Magicite Fragments can be fused together to form one Magicite. Doing this will result in one random Magicite per fusion. At first, the player will only be able to fuse a random weapon Magicite but eventually gain the ability to decide what kind of magicite will be formed.
Fuse enough Magicite and your Form Rank will go up. Higher levels in Form Rank will make it easier to get higher rarity Magicite.
Disassembling Magicite
If you have Magicite that is not needed anymore, you can disassemble them to create more fragments.
Magicite Box
Elliot can carry a Magicite Box for every weapon type he has. But each weapon-type has a cost limit to how much Magicite can be used on a weapon. The Magicite shop can upgrade your Magicite Box in order to increase the cost limit.
How to Use Magicites
To use Magicite, go into your menu and select Magicite.
In the menu, you can equip Magicite onto the selected weapon type. However, there is a cost limit to how much Magicite can be equipped to the weapon type. Each Magicite has a different cost limit, which is shown next to its name.
The cost limit to Magicite is unique to every weapon type, meaning there is no need to worry about the costs overlapping. Maximizing the costs of one weapon type does not affect the cost limit to another. So feel free to mix and match Magicites to create the most powerful weapon there is!
