[1] Meet the Airulophilic Traveler
After meeting with Euygene about the Moonmirror, exit the castle. Cats will come running at you. The Airulophilic Traveler laments that though they love cats, cats seem to always run away from them. They say that surely there must be at least one cat that will like them, right?
They ask Elliot to bring them some cats so that they can try petting them.
[2] Gather 2 cats.
There are some cats in the vicinity. The first is a white cat near where the Airulophilic Traveler is situated across from the castle doors. It will run away as soon as Elliot approaches. Follow it!
The next one is north of where Elliot is after herding the first one. Just approach it.
[3] Return to the Airulophilic Traveler.
Talk to the Airulophilic Traveler. The cats let him pet them! He's so happy and tells Elliot of his dream to live in a kingdom full of cats. He asks Elliot to bring him any cats that he chances upon in his travels.
This opens up an exchange system where gathering cats gets you prizes! You can also feed your favorite cat to raise its affection towards you, or rather, Elliot.
