How to Upgrade Weapons

| 1 | Go to the Mind Place |
| 2 | Select the book for the weapon you want to upgrade |

| 4 | Consume manuscript fragments to upgrade |
Go to the Mind Place
Weapon upgrades are performed in the Mind Place, so head there. Once you've opened the Mind Place, open the menu anywhere and press R2 or L2 to navigate to the menu with the weapon books.
Select the book for the weapon you want to upgrade
Once you've opened the menu with the weapon books, select the book for the weapon you want to upgrade. Since the cost to upgrade is high, it's recommended to upgrade weapons you like or weapons that have a lot of ammunition first.
Choose the upgrade you want
After selecting the weapon book, choose the upgrade you want. Selecting the upgrade you want will complete the upgrade, but you'll need manuscript fragments obtained from lunch boxes to upgrade.
How to Collect Manuscript Fragments
Open Lunch Boxes
To collect manuscript fragments, open the lunch boxes placed throughout the area. Since weapon upgrades require 10 or more manuscript fragments, it's recommended to actively collect them.
