- Examine the television
In Initiation 4, the protagonist is Alan Wake. First, examine the television in the room and proceed across the musical stage.
- Proceed to the back of the stage and examine the television
Move to the back of the stage and wait for the video of Alan dancing while surrounded to switch. Once it switches, you can proceed further, and a side table and television on the table will appear. Examine the appeared television and proceed to the award-winning scene.
- Obtain the lamp on the platform
When the scene switches to the award-winning scene, an angel lamp will appear on the platform. Obtain the lamp and move to the ladder location in the room.
- Climb the ladder and change the Light Shift
Climb the ladder, proceed along the catwalk to the dead end. At the dead end, you can use the lamp to change the Light Shift.
- Descend the appeared ladder
When you change the Light Shift, a ladder leading downward will appear. Descend the ladder and proceed along the white line on the floor.
- Proceed to the back and charge the light from the lighting
As you proceed through the stage, a sales wagon and an outdoor light will appear. Hold the lamp up to the outdoor lighting and charge the lamp.
- Change the Light Shift near the taxi
After charging from the lighting, move near the taxi and telephone box. When you change the Light Shift with the lamp, multiple televisions will appear in the direction illuminated by the taxi's headlights.
- Examine the appeared television
After changing the Light Shift, examine the appeared television. When you examine it, the scene will switch.
- Proceed to the back of the stage and climb the ladder
After the scene switches, proceed to the back of the stage and climb the ladder. Once you climb it, you'll arrive at a writing room-like space surrounded by yellow lighting.
- Obtain the flare gun on the desk
Examine the desk and obtain the flare gun. The flare gun can be equipped, and obtaining it will earn you the trophy "Light Shines." It's good to customize your equipment so you can use both the handgun and flare gun.
- Defeat enemies while proceeding to the back of the stage
When you obtain the flare gun, the stage curtain rises and you can proceed further. As you try to proceed, multiple enemies will appear, so defeat them while moving forward.
- Ammunition can be replenished at stairs and trees
Many enemies appear in this area, so ammunition runs out easily. Boxes appear near stairs, trees, and shrubs, so examine them and replenish ammunition as needed.
- Climb the stairs and examine the television
Defeat enemies while proceeding and climb the stairs, and a television will appear. Examine the television and proceed to the next scene.
- Exit the room and obtain the Echo
When you return to the room, you can exit through the door next to the television. Exit the room and obtain the Echo.
- Climb the ladder and rewrite the musical scene

When you obtain the Echo, the curtain rises and a ladder appears at the back. Climb the ladder, examine the writing board, and rewrite the musical scene to the composition plot "End of Song."
- Examine the television and exit the stage
When you rewrite the musical scene, a television will appear. Examine the television and watch the musical scene. When the musical ends, you can exit the stage. Once you exit the stage, Initiation 4 is complete.
Weapons Available in Initiation 4
Flare Gun
The Flare Gun can be obtained for certain during the musical in Initiation 4 "We Sing." Obtaining the Flare Gun opens the path forward, so obtain the flare gun placed next to the typewriter and proceed.
