How to Enter the Mind Place

Press the Right Side of the Touchpad

You can enter the Mind Place by pressing the right side of the Touchpad. When you enter the Mind Place, the screen shows a different location, but the in-game time remains the same. Since you may receive attacks if you move during combat, execute this in a safe location.

What You Can Do in the Mind Place

Organize Story Information on the Board

In the Mind Place, you can organize information related to story progression on the board, such as adding story information and rewriting scenes. If you get stuck in the story, check the board for new clues or plots.

Check the Map

In the Mind Place, you can check the map if you have one. You don't need to enter the Mind Place; you can directly check the map by pressing the left side of the Touchpad.

Rewatch Movies and TV Commercials

In the Mind Place, you can rewatch movies and TV commercials you've seen so far. If you missed any TV commercials or movies, check them on the TV in the room.

Check BGM and Echoes on the Radio

On the radio in the Mind Place, you can check the BGM and echo sounds that play when the game is idle. If you're curious about the in-game BGM or echoes, you can recheck them on the radio anytime.

Check Manuscripts

In Saga's Mind Place, you can check the manuscripts you've picked up. Since manuscripts describe events that will happen in the future, check the manuscripts you've found to get hints about the story.

Only Available for Saga

Checking manuscripts is only available for Saga. While investigating Alan, you cannot check or pick up manuscripts found by Saga.

Upgrade Weapons

Saga can upgrade picked-up weapons using manuscript fragments. Since manuscript fragments are found inside lunch boxes scattered throughout the area, actively search for lunch boxes during exploration.

Only Available for Saga

Weapon upgrades are only possible for Saga. Since Alan can strengthen weapons with Words of Power, strengthen Words of Power if you want to strengthen weapons as Alan.

Strengthen Words of Power

Alan can strengthen Words of Power in the Mind Place. Words of Power are characters found during exploration as Alan that can enhance Alan's stats and weapons.

Only Available for Alan

Strengthening Words of Power can only be done by Alan. While Saga cannot use Words of Power, it can strengthen weapons through weapon upgrades.

Differences Between Alan and Saga's Mind Place

Room Appearance

Alan and Saga's Mind Place have different room appearances. Saga's is called the Mind Place, which looks like an investigator's room with scattered filed documents. On the other hand, Alan's is a writing room, with each room's appearance reflecting their emotional state and position.

Board Appearance

In Alan and Saga's Mind Place, the board appearance and organization method are different. While Saga organizes information and deductions related to the case, Alan organizes the plot of manuscripts, creating a board for building the story.

Weapon and Words of Power Enhancement

Alan and Saga have different methods of enhancing their abilities. Alan can enhance his stats and weapons with Words of Power, while Saga enhances herself through charms and weapon upgrades.
