- Exit the cabin and collect the gun and flashlight
After switching to Alan's perspective, open the cabin door and you'll see a flashlight and gunlying in front of you. Collect them with the × button and make sure to equip the gun.
- Burn away the darkness at the gate in 3 locations with light
After exiting the cabin building, aim at the 3 nodes of the darkness covering the gate and burn them away with your flashlight. Since enemies will appear from within after you burn away the darkness, it's a good idea to check in advance that you have your gun equipped before burning away the darkness.
- Proceed along the path while defeating believers
After defeating the believers at the gate, defeat the appearing believers as you proceed along the path to the bridge. Also, the street lamps along the way contain ammunition for your gun, so make sure to collect them. Once you reach the bridge, Saga and the others will appear, and after an event occurs, Return 4 will be complete.
