Sector 04: Lunum Mines - Main Excavation Site Full Walkthrough and Details | Pragmata

Hugh and Diana continue their journey towards the Nexus Tower. They access a mining rig in order to traverse the excavation site. Along the way they discover clues on an accident that occured prior.

Starting Objective: Use the mining rig to get across

After making it out of the warehouse, much to your relief, you and Diana inch your way closer to the Nexus Tower. Your next stop is the Main Excavation Site

Area FOUR: Main Excavation Site

Your first goal is to use the gigantic mining rig to get across. You'll find some items to pick but once you start hacking the rig, a cutscene will trigger where the rig will stall halfway through IDUS will drop some enemies on you to fight.

IDUS will then drop a new enemy: the Air Raider. This enemy is a rather crafty due to the enclosed space and the fact it has explosive rounds. What makes things more difficult is that lasers will begin spawning both vertically and horizontally. Dodging the lasers is key.

Once you defeat the Air Raider, continue forward where you'll enter a room with an Escape Hatch. Press on until you make it back out on the Moon's surface. There are some items you may want to pick up before entering the ruins.

Point of Interest	Details
Upgrade Component	Located near the viewpoint facing the Earth.
Upgrade Component 2	Head forward after the viewpoint then drop down. It's located near a container.
REM	After getting the second upgrade component, climb back up then you'll see a container to your left that you can climb on. Drop down to get it.
Viewpoint	Hugh and Diana have a small but heartfelt chat about the Earth's beauty.
Mod: Eagle Eye	Climb on top of stacked containers before the entrance of the ruins. You'll see two containers that can be pushed forward. Push the outside container first then the one on the inside.

Next Objective: Pass through the ruins

Once inside, you can see a journal that talks about an incident that happened in the ruins which involving some weird substance. Head right until you see a door where Crusher bots will emerge before you enter. Defeat them then move on.

When you get inside, black goop will seep through the cracks. Be careful not to touch themas they will interfere with Diana and your suit! Climb up the platform after getting the Decode hacking node. Make your walk to the walkway until an eerie cutscene plays out.

Upgrade Component 3	After defeating the goop infested Walker, jump down then head right.

Make your way to the end of the walkway then jump to the door with the number "3" on it. There's a Red Gate Key that you can get which may prove handy later. Another hatch is also available for you. Once you're done head straight and onto the next objective.

Next Objective: Infiltrate the Nexus Tower

There's a lot of loot in this area but the LunaDigger and a horde of enemies make things a little more complicated.

Start by heading left to a flight of stairs. Hack the terminal to drop a container. Climb on top of the wreckage. Retrace your steps then head towards the platform in the middle. Be mindful of the Gunner that is shooting rockets at you.

Point of Interest	Details
Upgrade Component 4	Drop down then head to stairs which loops back to the entrance then head right.
Upgrade Component 5	Located near the platform in the middle. Jump off then head West.
Upgrade Component 6	Located near the ramp behind some debris. Use your Lim Eraser to remove them and retrieve it.
Lunafilament Chest	Climb the container near the entrance then head right.
Mod: Synaptic Response	Solve the puzzle by hacking the boxes until you use them to climb up. Jump between two crane operators and destroy the Gunner ahead.

You'll see a ramp being guarded by some enemies and an Executor. Take them out then head up. When you get to the top, you'll battle another horde enemies within the enclosed space.

Head right and you'll find a terminal. Hack it and another container will drop which can be used to jump to door leading to the exit.

For the last time, backtrack all the way to the entrance then proceed to the exit. An Escape Hatch will be available to you as you make your way to the Nexus Tower
