Chasing the Clouds Summary

Dr. Lewis sends you to the senior, Lana, to learn more. You learn about how Sanctums work and you will face your first Alpha Aniimo! You will also learn about Pathfinder Skills and Elite Training.

Chasing the Clouds Walkthrough

[1] Meet Senior Lana.

Jump off the leaf and glide through the sky, following the wind.

Light up the Bloom and talk to your upperclassman, currently twined with a Nimbi.

[2] Learn what the Flameruff and the Emberpups are planning.

Twine with an Emberpup and go to the gathering with the Flameruff.

Use Emberpup's mobility skill Hustle to collect the Lumin Amber fragments while following the Flameruff.

[3] Complete the Sanctum.

Get through the challenge by using the skills of the Emberpup. If you want to collect all the treasure chests inside, check our guide below!

After the Sanctum, you will learn about Aniimo evolution. Each Aniimo have certain conditions for its evolution that range from the place it is evolving at to certain world bosses being defeated.

Evolve your Emberpup by increasing its level to 12 and choosing the Flameruff evolution path.

[4] Catch Aniimo to use against Turbo.

Lana will call you, wondering where you are. She wants to challenge you by having you fight against an Alpha Turbo.

Catch these two Aniimo before you go to where she is!

[5] Defeat the Alpha Turbo.

Talk to Senior Sheepy.

Prepare your team before you approach the Turbo! Turbo is a Wind type Aniimo, meaning it is weak to Light and Lightning. You don't have any Lightning Aniimo right now, but your companion is by your side! Use their skills to hit that Turbo hard!

After the battle, you can choose to try and capture the Alpha Turbo. Some aniipods have much better chances than others. It is also worth noting that you do not have to successfully catch the Aniimo to still claim the rewards!

[6] Report to your superiors.

Talk to Lana and Dr. Lewis.

Your Pathfinder Skills are now available! You will have more access to more skills as you get promoted through the ranks. To access and level up these skills, you will need Report Cards. Report Cards can be obtained through passing the promotion exams, as well as fighting Elite Pathfinders and completing Journeys.

Dr. Lewis will also introduce you to Elite Training. Some Elite Training goals are required to progress in the main story while the others help you explore the world of Idyll and to find out more about the different features Aniimo has to offer.
