Alpha Geoclaw Summary
Found deep within a cave underneath Breezy Plains, Alpha Geoclaw is a beautiful yet dangerous creature covered in shimmering amber crystals. It uses these to lure unsuspecting prey to their deaths. Defeat the Alpha Aniimo for a chance to capture it and claim valuable rewards!

Where to Find Alpha Geoclaw
Collect 120 Lumin Ambers and Infuse the Branch
Alpha Geoclaw must first be unlocked by collecting 120 Lumin Ambers and offering them to the Breezy Plains Branch. After infusion, the Earthquake Revelation occurs, revealing previously hidden locations across the map.

Teleport to Breezy Plains Branch and head to the encircled map location. If you're having trouble finding it, use the (-1344, 0945) coordinates to pinpoint the exact spot on the map.
Head to the pond area and melt the ice crystals blocking the cavern entrance using a Fire-type skill. Follow the path inside to find Alpha Geoclaw at the end.
Alpha Geoclaw Attack Patterns

| Frost Slam |  Alpha Geoclaw gathers icy vapor in its pincers before slamming them down to create an ice wall that pierces its foe. |
| Icy Gravel Dance |  The creature spins multiple times while periodically releasing an ice storm that freezes its target. |
| Freezing Claws |  Alpha Geoclaw charges its pincer with elemental energy before plunging it into the ground, generating massive ice shards that heavy damage. |
| Ice Prison |  It creates an ice barrier around its opponent to trap them in place. |
| Burrow and Dance |  Alpha Geoclaw tunnels into the ground before performing an Icy Gravel Dance. |

How to Beat Alpha Geoclaw
[1] Dodge its attacks as they apply a debuff.
Alpha Geoclaw's attacks inflicts Gelid, which can accumulate in stacks and freezes the target once it reaches 10 stacks. Avoid attacking while it is on the offensive and wait for an opening to counter after it attacks.
[2] Use Fire-type skills to melt through its ice prison.
The boss can create an ice prison around the player to trap them while it channels a powerful attack. Switch to a Fire-type Aniimo and burn away the cage before it finishes charging its attack.
[3] Equip a healer that can remove its status ailment.
Another effective way to counter the Gelid debuff is to bring a Healer with a status-cleansing skill. Gracewing's Purifying Dance is particularly effective for removing the ailment while also recharging the team's EP.
