How to Beat Alpha Scorchhowl
[1] Bring your Water-type Aniimo for this fight.
The Alpha is a Fire-type Aniimo, making Water or Earth-type companions great counters. Bringing an Aniimo from the Susuta evolutionary line helps deal consistent BREAK damage, while those from the Skippy line can provide valuable HP recovery.
[2] Dodge its attacks by looking at the visual markers.
Most of its attacks will generate a visual cue on the ground, indicating the direction and range of the incoming attack. Move away from these to avoid getting damaged and burnt into crisp.
[3] Avoid burning areas and use water skills to douse the flames.
Alpha Scorchhowl leaves behind flames after attacking that apply Burn. Extinguish these with Water-type skills to prevent them from building up in the arena.
