What is the Homeland System?
The Homeland system is a base-building feature that can be accessed via the RV or the in-game menu. It has additional gameplay features and reward systems designed to add variety to the game experience.
How to Unlock Homeland
You can unlock this feature by reaching Level 20 and starting the Prologue RV mission "Welcome Home." You can then head to the RV park or the menu to come and go to your Homeland as you please.
How Homeland Works
Homeland's gameplay loop revolves around planting, harvesting, and creating products to sell by either fulfilling orders via the Order Robot or selling them directly to the Co-op Store.
Build Facilities
Build facilities to produce and craft products. Invest Home Coins to create these facilities and buy seeds to start production.
Assign Aniimo
Assign Aniimo to your Homeland to start working. Some Aniimo are in charge of planting and harvesting, while others may focus on crafting items.
Create and Sell Items
Using the materials your Aniimos have gathered, you and your Aniimo can now start creating items that you can sell by either fulfilling orders or directly at the Co-op Store.
Upgrade
After earning more Home Coins, you can now start upgrading your facilities to become more efficient, or your RV to unlock more types of facilities and items.
Optimize Workflow
Optimize Ability Distribution and production workflow to maximize the amount of Home Coins and upgrade materials you get. Work Efficiency also gets better by putting in stronger Aniimo with better Home Ability levels and types.
As of writing, only 3 of the 6 areas are available: the Production Zone, Service Hub, and Homebuilding Zone. The rest of the areas are still under development and will most likely be made available in future events and updates.
Why You Should Progress Homeland
Your Homeland features a wide array of activities and rewards that carry over to the main world of Idyll. Here are some of the cool things you can do in your homeland:
[1] Hatch Aniimo Eggs
You can hatch Aniimo eggs that can be gathered throughout Idyll. This is especially important for hatching powerful Aniimos that are given as rewards.
[2] Produce Aniipods and Materials
Aniipods are essential to capturing Aniimo. It's great to have a stockpile of them so you don't have to worry about running out. Buying Aniipods can also become expensive really fast, especially when there's an event where you have to catch tons of Aniimo.
You can also produce EXP Materials that can be used to level up Aniimo.
[3] Upgrade Stamina
Stamina is a very important resource in an open-world game such as Aniimo. Aside from making world exploration easier by running, climbing, or flying, it's also important to have a large pool of stamina to keep dodging in combat.
[4] Side Quests
There is a side questline exclusive to the Homeland that guides you on how to effectively use it. It's a good idea to check it out to learn more about the features and rewards.
[5] More Rewards
By earning Home Coins and crafting materials, you can now upgrade your RV and claim rewards.
[6] Break from the Action
The Homeland also acts as a way to enjoy the game as a cozy, base-building sim. Here, you can play with Aniimo and the facilities, as well as decorate the areas to your liking.
Homeland Tips & Tricks
Here are a few tips and tricks you can use to make your Homeland experience a bit better:
[1] Divide and Assign Plots
You can unlock plots to get materials and space for your facilities. You can then sort facilities to your liking to make production smoother and more manageable.
[2] Focus on a Sellable Product and Food Item
Try to focus on making 1-2 products you can sell to the Co-op Store for Home Coins, and a Food Item to keep your Aniimos fed and productive. That being said, you should try to keep some of the various other produce on hand just in case they show up as an order.
[3] Match Aniimo Personalities to their Tasks
An Aniimo's personality grants a +20% bonus to the type of work they do. Here's a cheat sheet for reference:
| Facility | Ability | Personality |
|---|---|---|
| Blazing Stove | ||
| Bouncy Brew Keg | ||
| Carousell Mill | ||

[4] Get More Bud Tickets from Homebuilding
You can get more Bud Tickets after reaching RV Lv. 8 by placing an Aniimo in your Homebuilding Zone. However, they share the same capacity as your Building Zone, so only place one if you have extra space.
