Call of the Hunt Walkthrough | Ghost of Yotei

Hanbei is my best chance at finding the Spider. I hope he’s still on Mount Yotei.

Call of the Hunt marks the start of Chapter 3: The Cost of Revenge. It's automatically unlocked after finishing The Saito Brothers Main Quest.

1 Return to Hanbei on Mount Yotei

・Go back to the Mountain Trail (the one you climbed during The Oni Main Quest).

2 Speak with Hanbei

・Climb again until you reach Hanbei's House. Talk to him there.

・Hanbei will help you think about the places where Spider could be.

3 Find the Spider

・Look for The Spider at the Ohara Plains Burial Site in the Tokachi Range. It's located near Amber Respite Shrine.

4 Find a Hiding Spot

・Hide behind the graves and wait for The Spider.

5 Pursue the Spider

・After your conversation, The Spider will shoot you and run away again. Chase after him!

・He will attack you from time to time. You can hide for cover.

・While climbing, you'll hallucinate Kiku and Jubei.

6 Defeat The Spider

・Fight The Spider when you reach the top.

・He'll immediately shoot you at the start.

・Watch out for his yari as well. He can disarm you by throwing it.

・Be alert when he brings out his musket and dodge his red attacks.

Once the battle ends, you decide that you will not yield your blade for revenge any longer. You decide not to kill The Spider and protect your new family. He will bitterly laugh, but The Spider will say where Jubei and Oyuki are being held.
