The Final Hunt of the Onryō Walkthrough | Ghost of Yotei

This is it. Saito is holding Jubei and Oyuki prisoner. I just have to trust the Spider in order to find them.

Atsu's Journey is finally coming to an end! This Final Main Quest is unlocked after completing Call of the Hunt.

1 Meet the Spider near the Central Ferry

・Go to the Central Ferry. The Spider is willing to betray his father and lead you to Jubei and Oyuki.

Note: the rest of Ezo will be inaccessible until Atsu's final hunt is complete. Make sure that you're prepared!

2 Reach Koga Fortress

・Get in the boat and travel with The Spider.

・Climb and survey the Koga Fortress. Sneak inside afterward.

・Once you reach a higher area, open your Spyglass again. You'll see where Jubei is being held as a prisoner.

3 Rescue Jubei

・Cross to the other side and defeat Saito Outlaws that are guarding the area.

・Open the gate and help Jubei!

・There will be a cutscene afterward.

・The fight isn't over yet! Oyuki is still held captive.

4 Survey the Fortress

・Follow Jubei and slip through the gap in the fence.

・Survey the area. Inspect the building on the ridge and the main gate.

5 Reach Oyuki at the Upper Keep

・Find a way across. Climb on the walls until you reach another fence with an opening.

・Kill Saito's men with Jubei.

・You'll need to open a few gates before reaching the Upper Keep.

6 Rescue Oyuki

・Climb with the help of Jubei.

・Head inside and defeat the enemies.

・Oyuki will tell you that Saito plans on returning to where it all began.

7 Fight Your Way Out of the Fortress

・Slide down and defeat the Saito Outlaws.

・Keep running until you see your horses.

8 Escape

・Mount your horse and charge at the enemies.

・Shoot the barrels of gunpowder to eliminate the guards at the gate.

・Travel back to your Home.

9 Defeat Lord Saito

・Kiku is alive! But Saito is there. He wants to have a final duel with the onryo.

・Before the battle starts, you'll burn your obi belt. A symbol that you found a new purpose in life.

・For the first phase, Saito's weapon will change multiple times. He can use everything but he won't use his katana yet.

・Try to counter it by switching to a different weapon as well.

・Once you start the second phase, Saito will have three Spirit points and will start attacking with his Katana.

・He will disarm you but Jubei will come and save you.

・Jubei will fall and the second phase will restart.

・It's best to defend yourself first if Saito's Spirit is full and go on offense when he's replenishing.

・Deliver the final blow by stabbing Saito at the Ginkgo Tree.

・Approach Jubei.

There will be a cutscene six months later.

10 Collect Mushrooms with Kiku

・After getting some mushrooms, follow her to pick up a flower.

・Return Home and meet with Oyuki.

・Leave the flower by the grave.

・The Quest ends with you saying goodbye to the Wolf, marking the end of your hunt.

After finishing The Final Hunt of the Onryō, the world will be returned just before Atsu defeats Lord Saito. You can now start the Post-Game Content: Unfinished Business.
