Turns out, our buck-toothed lumberjacks are finely tuned to the sounds of cracking wood. They listen carefully to calculate exactly when and where the tree will fall. Why? Because, let's be honest, on land, beavers aren't too swift. By crunching the potential trajectory, they give themselves just enough time to dodge the danger zone. The goal? Avoid becoming a tragic - and very ironic - addition to the dam they're building.
And here we are, still struggling with basic geometry.
Castor Woods' Industrial District flourished in the late 19th century when the Hauke and Fischer families invested in the region.
Although the Fischers won the business race, the district's center still follows Peter Hauke's original urban design.
