Beaver The Librarian Text
You probably wouldn't expect Aristotle to give beavers their literary debut but here we are. According to him, beavers were flatter than otters (uh, sure?) and had fur that sat somewhere between "seal-sleek" and "deer-scruffy." Harsh.
Fast-forward a few centuries, and the fashion industry clearly had other opinions. By the 17th century, beaver pelts were so trendy that the booming trade nearly wiped out these fluffy-bottomed rodents in the U.S. Thankfully, human tastes shifted, and while beavers never landed a magazine cover, they got to keep their fabulous coats - still chic as they paddle through the rivers of Castor Woods.
Established in 1553, Beten's Library is one of the oldest public libraries in this part of Europe. Its medieval architecture, complete with dark wood paneling, is a bookworm's dream.
