Along with these special moves, Alucard's Sword and Shield also allows Rose to teleport her when attacking an enemy.

How to Get Alucard's Sword and Shield

To get Alucard's Sword and Shield, you need to first defeat Death. Afterwards, complete the Blue Flame Puzzle in the Main Hall and go to Alucard's room.

[1] Make sure you have all the movement abilities.

You will need the movement abilities to navigate your way to Alucard's weapon. This includes the smash, aerial rush (dash), and double jump.

[2] Start at this location right above Alucard's portrait.

You need to first unlock this door. Entering this door will lead you to the Wine Cellar. Navigate your way toward the Grand Hall Door.

[3] Hit the gear multiple times.

Hitting the gear will unlock paths. At Alucard's portrait (upper right), there is a hidden path directly above his portrait. Go up and then head right to the Bridge of Knowledge and to Alucard's tower.

[4] Extinguish the 5 Blue Flames.

You find a letter in his room that gives you the clue to extinguish the flames. 2 inside the room. Another 2 below. And one at the Bridge of Knowledge.

For the other one below the room, you will have to go back to the Bridge of Knowledge, then go below it and head outside. Swing on the anchors using your arcane whip and head to that room.

[5] Go up to the room above where you found the letter.

After extinguishing all the flames, you can now access the upper portion of Alucard's room.

Recommended Relics for Alucard's Sword and Shield

[1] Forsaken Ring

The Foraken Ring is good match to Alucard's Sword and Shield. This weapon allows Rose to teleport and has almost full protection for Rose. As such, this lets her be at full HP and triggers the effect of the Forsaken Ring dealing 25% damage.

[2] Ebony Claw

A melee combat is inevitable with Alucard's weapon. A perfect way to be aggressive is to stun the enemies and deal repeated attacks.

[3] Witch's Knot

This relic is best paired with the Forsaken Ring for a continued 25% additional damage.

[4] Vile Trinket

Due to Alucard's weapon having the ability to teleport, this relic can be utilized. It is also best used against bosses where you need to attack them from behind.
