Is there Easy Mode?
Yes, there is an Easy Mode. However, it is not the conventional way of simply choosing an easy mode option. The difficulty is customizable depending on how you want to play the game.
Custom Mode (Difficulty)
There are options to adjust the difficulty of the game on the Gameplay Menu. This includes the following:
| Setting | Default | Min | Max |
|---|---|---|---|
| Damage Dealt | 1.0 | 0.5 | 5.0 |
| Maximum Number of Potions | 3.0 | 0.0 | 6.0 |
| Damage Received from Enemies | 1.0 | 0.0 | 3.0 |
| Damage Received from Traps | 1.0 | 0.0 | 3.0 |
| Experience Gained | 1.0 | 0.0 | 3.0 |
With these options, you can make the difficulty easier or harder. So, adjust the settings depending on your preference. The game warns you that this will affect the game balance and could impact the gaming experience.
Prevent Death
You can choose the option "Prevent Death." Even at zero (0) health, your character stands and can still fight. If you want to enjoy the story of the game and simply explore the area, you can choose to tick this setting.
Respawn at Boss Door
By default, your character respawns at the last Mirror you interacted with when she dies. However, you have the option to respawn in front of Boss Doors. This is convenient when you want to retry the boss fight immediately after failing.
