Demo Summary
Spoiler Warning: This summary covers the opening events of the game.
In the year 1499, Claude de Champigny, the Bishop of Paris requested help from the House of Belmont, knowing full well that Trevor Belmont is the last of House Belmont. Claude promised to Trevor tithes, land, and gold as a reward, but Trevor is disappointed at the Bishop for mistaking his desire for their own.
Then it is later revealed that Trevor has a daughter, Rose Belmont revealing that Trevor is not the last Belmont anymore!
Rose and Trevor reached dock, where Trevor told Rose to be extra cautious, explaining that the situation in Paris is much worse than what the letter described and that it may be a trap. Trevor also gave the Tarot cards that Rose's Mother made for her.
While Trevor left to speak to the Bishop, Rose sets out to investigate the City. Marking the official start of the story!
Demo Walkthrough
[1] Investigate the Street of Paris
Head right and keep following the path until Rose reaches the very end of the area.
Once Rose is in the Sewers, continue heading right, and a tutorial will start that will guide players through the basic mechanics of the game.
Once Rose reached the very end of the area where a lever is located, interact with it to proceed and head to the next area!
[2] Undercity
Once Rose arrives in the Undercity, Rose has no choice but to head upwards, since both the left and right paths are dead ends, leaving the way up the only route forward.
Follow the path and be careful; the area is full of monsters!
Once Rose reached the well, climb up to the balcony until you've reached the top!
A cutscene will start when you go near the blue spirit! After the cutscene go down a platform with the barrels, attack the wall with cracks in it and interact with the lever!
The lever will open the well allowing Rose to proceed to the next area!
[3] Central Sewer Drain
Head right and destroy the statues along the way, as they reward Rose with EXP.
After entering the new area, a cutscene will start, explaining what a mirror is and what it does! After the cutscene, head right to proceed.
Note: The Mirror heals Rose and saves the player's progress. It serves as a save point!
After leaving the area with the mirror, head down to proceed to the next area. Follow the path and head up to reach the next area.
Go left to interact with the lever. Afterwards, go right to proceed to the next area!
Keep going right until you've reached another spirit; a cutscene will start. After the cutscene, head right to proceed to the Fallen Boss Fight
[4] Defeat The Fallen
After defeating The Fallen, head right to proceed to the next area!
Note: If you die during the Fallen Boss Fight there is a setting allowing you to respawn at the boss door!
Additional Note: There are a bunch of settings for the game that allow the player to customize their gameplay!
[5] Unlock the Gate to the Catacombs
After leaving the Boss Area, a tutorial will start that teaches Rose how to use the Arcane Whip!
If Rose reached the area with a Sharpened Anchors (Violet rings), use the Arcane whip and head up to proceed to the next area! After entering the area, go left until Rose reaches the end.
Go left until Rose comes back to the lever near the Mirror Room!
Near the Mirror Room, use the Arcane whip to go up top! Destroy the Statue while there and use the Arcane Whip again to go up higher.
Once Rose reaches the top, a hidden area with a Sharpened Anchor (violent Ring) at the top right! Use the Arcane Whip to head to the secret area! The area contains the Cestus Weapon
Note: After opening the chest containing the cestus, a group of mobs and a mini boss will spawn so be extra cautious!
After getting the Cestus go back down to the previous area and head right to proceed to the next area.
Keep going right to enter the next area!
Rose will come across a barricaded door, Use the Sharpened Anchor (Violet Ring) to go up top and proceed to the next area!
Once Rose reaches the area, go right until you've reached the end and proceed to the next area.
A cutscene will start. After the cutscene, head left to the next area!
Interact with the Mirror.
Note: Interacting with the mirror will complete the Demo!
