Who is Sonia Belmont?

castlevania legends

Sonia Belmont is the main character from the Game Boy game, Castlevania Legends. When the game was released back in 1997, it was created as the origin story of the entire Castlevania franchise but was later removed from canon. Despite this, Sonia is still the franchise's first female protagonist, and she has been honored in many ways, like in Belmont's Curse.
