How to Get Lance
[1] Interact with the lever and clear the room.
Lance can be found inside the chest in Holy Innocents' Cemetery.
Entering the area will trap you there with enemies. Defeat the enemies in order to escape.
[2] Go up and collect the Lance.
Like the video shows, use the walls on the right side to jump to the platform above, and then jump to where the chest is.
Recommended Relics
[1] Vile Trinket
 Vile Trinket | Rose deals 25% more damage when striking enemies from behind. |
As the lance gives you some distance in attacking, especially with its ability to be thrown from afar, hitting enemies from the back often can be very viable. This lets you get an advantage when the battle starts.
[2] Blackened Heart
 Blackened Heart | Rose recovers 2 health points when she hits an enemy with an attack, but she can't use her healing potions. |
When used in tandem with the Vile Trinket, you will be able to deal more damage and have some distance from enemies while attacking, thus not getting damaged as often. This lets you heal at a good pace despite not being able to use potions.
