The Ocelot Unit Part 2 Walkthrough and Guide - Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater

After your encounter with Major Ocelot, you can now head back to Dolinovodno. A cutscene will play. Sokolov will tell you that he is forced to build The Shagohod aka "The Treading Behemoth." It's a solo-operating tank that is capable of launching nuclear intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBMs). As you escort Sokolov back, you will encounter "The Boss." While she's ordering you to hand over Sokolov, he gets taken by hornets. You'll also meet Colonel Volgin. Having seen his face, The Boss throws Snake under the bridge. You'll end up at the riverbank. This ends your Virtuous operation.

As instructed, open your survival viewer by pressing the start button. Then select "cure." Healing is divided into medicinal treatment and surgical treatment. For lacerations, you need suture kit, styptic, disinfectant, and bandage. For fractures, you need splint and bandage.

A cutscene will play showing the colonel blasting a missile on his fellow Russians. After this, you'll be prompted to save the game. Another cutscene will play. After a week, you will start your next operation, Snake Eater. Major will remind you about your objectives:
・Rescue Sokolov
・Destroy Shagohod
・Eliminate The Boss
Equipped with a .45, navigate your way in Dremuchij East.

Before meeting up with ADAM in the abandoned factory, open your survival viewer and select "cure." Now, let's spin Snake round and round for around 10 seconds. Good work making Snake dizzy! You now have the "Ralph Called" trophy.

Slightly to your right, there should be a frog you can shoot. You will get Frog A (Otton Frog).

Head toward the narrow path straight ahead, you will reach an open area. On the left side, there will a couple of logs. You will find a Kerotan to shoot there.

And on the right, you'll see the Ga-Ko nearby.

Then on the right side, between the patches of grass, you will find a C Med (Cold Medicine).

Near the huge log, you will find a disinfectant.

Patience is a virtue. Stay in position and keep looking around the trees. You will find a flying squirrel! You can now proceed to the next area, Dremuchij North!

Just keep running until you reach a ledge. Go down and on your left will be a fellow snake. You now have R. Snake H (Reticulated Python).

Follow the path. You will find another snake just hanging on a tree. Now you have R. Snake F (Green Tree Python).

Straight ahead, you'll see a Ga-Ko on top of a snapped tree.

Moving forward, a cutscene will start to play. You will meet The Boss. She's really showing Snake who's boss. After she leaves, Snake contacts Major, and he reminds Snake that this is a stealth mission. Immediately move to the right side to hide from the incoming enemies.

Just wait for them to pass and once they do, you can shoot them from behind. You can then move to where they came from, and you will find a snake in the first patch of grass. You now have Snake A (King Cobra).Capture it alive for the "Snake Bit" trophy.

Next, climb the tree covered in vines.

When you reach the first branch, turn around toward a boulder. You will find a Kerotan there! After this, you can go back to your starting location and move to the next area, Dremuchij Swampland!

Follow the path toward the wide open area. Once you reach it, look to your right, and you will see a Kerotan near the Gavial behind the tree.

Now, move to the left side. Look for the Ga-Ko sitting on top of a log. Keep hugging left unti you see a narrow path with tall grass that you can follow leading to the next area, Dremuchij South.

Notice how this is the first area you encountered from the very start of the game! Remember that log you crawled under before? Facing the log, look to your left. On the bottom of the tree, you will find a splint.

And just like last time, crawl under the log again. And just straight ahead you will see R. Markhor and a rabbit. You need to kill the Markhor to get its meat.

Then turn to your right to find a Ga-Ko in the distance.

Turn back and head toward the huge logs. You can spot a Kerotan in the distance. After shooting the Kerotan, you can now head over to the other side.

On the right side, shoot the bottom of the trees to get a styptic. You now have the trophy, "Just What the Doctor Ordered" for collecting all types of medicinal plants. Now you can head back to Dremuchij Swampland, the area before this. When you reach the wide area where the Gavials are, go to the narrow path on the right which leads to Dremuchij North. Continue straight ahead until you see a guard. Shoot him and proceed. Then go up the grassy narrow path on your left to reach Dolinovodno.

SAVE THE GAME BEFORE PROCEEDING.On your backpack, select the King Cobra to add to your list of weapons. Equip it as your weapon. Then move straight ahead and let the guard spot you. Aim the snake at him and let him get bit. Now, you have the "Snake Bit" trophy.

Be a masochist for once in your life if you haven't yet and let the guard shoot you. Use the Survival Knife to remove the bullet. Close the wound using the Suture Kit, make sure to disinfect it, and cover it with bandage. In this way, you will get the "Don't Touch the Sides" trophy.

Now that that's over. You can now load the most recent saved file. This time, you can just shoot the guard. Cross the hanging bridge. Once you cross it, look to your right, on top of a huge boulder. You will find a Kerotan and a Ga-Ko.

Just like before, on the left of the bridge, go to the narrow pathway toward the crevice. You will find loot which are LF Med (Life Medicine), Raindrop Uniform, Smoke G (Smoke Grenade). You can now head to the next area, Rassvet.

This area is the location of the abandoned factory where you're supposed to meet with ADAM. Head towards where the stairs are. Just below it is a Kerotan.

Turn around and look up to shoot the Ga-Ko.

Now, climb the stairs to get the AK-47 at the top. Equip the AK-47 and fire your gun to empty the magazine. This will give you a magazine item.

Run to the right of the building, then head to its back. You can find a Zombie Face Paint near the barrels.

Inside the building on its right. Just before the room you went through back in the Virtuous Mission. Get the C Box A on top of the crates. And another Smoke G by the crates on the right.

At the corner of the room, you can find a Mine D (Mine Detector).

Now, you can go inside the room. Open the locker to get the Therm G (Thermal Goggles). Equipping the goggles will allow you to see in the dark. Go to the next room and a cutscene will play. Instead of meeting ADAM, Snake meets a woman named EVA.

Snake will have to evade the enemies. You can shoot one by the window, then enter the trapdoor. Head towards the left side and head toward the opening. Shoot the guard that will be passing through. Head to the right by the barrels and just above the roof, another guard will be there. Climb the ladder on the side of the building to get to the roof. Head toward the guard you just knocked out. There will be more guards below. Use your stun grenade on them.

Leave the building and go back to the right side of it. Another cutscene will play. Snake meets Major Ocelot again holding EVA as hostage. Getting humiliated, Major Ocelot escapes. Snake doesn't let EVA shoot him because Major Ocelot is still young. After the cutscene, go back to where it began and head toward the next area on the right side, Chyornyj Prud. You can pick up a Bug Juice near the tree on your way.

Proceed to the open area. Just ahead of you is a snake, R. Snake D (Coral Snake).

On the left, there will be another snake, R. Snake E (Milk Snake).

On the left side of the lake, there will be a Gavial, R. Frog A (Otton Frog), AK-47 Bullets (x150), WP G (White Phosphorous Grenade), and Smoke G (Smoke Grenade).

Go underwater by crouching. You will spot R. Fish C (Arowana). Stand back up and look around on the water to find R. Frog C (Poison Dart Frog). With that, you now have the "Them's Good Eatin'" trophy.

Head to the right side of the lake. Swim underwater to get to the other side. Leeches may suck on you on your way. You can use a cigar to remove them. Snake will receive a call from EVA once he reaches the other side. She informs you that she is now with Volgin and The Boss. She also tells you her frequency, 142.52. After the call, head towards the right on the lake. You'll find the GA-KO uniform and Chaff G (Chaff Grenade).

Crouch near the tree on the other side of the lake. You will find a Ga-ko at a branch and Kerotan underwater at the bottom of the tree.

Go back to the shore. Notice that there is tripwire and make sure to avoid it. You can then move forward to the next area, Bolshaya Past South.

Remember to keep right! And once you see the fence, crawl under it. Once you pass the fence, you now need to keep left. Along the way, you can find Claymores. You will then spot a tree covered in vines on one of it's branches will be a Ga-ko. Climb it until you reach the first branch. From here, you can spot a guard dog. Jump to get to the other side of the fence. Head toward the right side and just keep right again. On the left side, you will see a guard. Shoot him and continue pressing on.

You'll reach a ledge that you can climb on. Once you reach the top, hug right and keep following the extremely narrow ledge. At the end, you will find the Splitter Uniform.

On this ledge, you can spot a Kerotan on the cluster of trees. And on the left side of there is another cluster of trees where you can spot a guard. Make sure to shoot him.

Following along the fence, head toward the guard you just shot. There will be an opening on the fence. Once you're out, keep left. You will find a hollow tree and inside it is a Choco Chip uniform.

After taking the delicious uniform, follow the path to get to the next area, Bolshaya Past Base. Head straight to the open area until you reach the fence. On you right, there will be a guard so shoot the man or woman (We're not sure). And on the left, there will be another guard who is farther away. Shoot that one too.

Go down the trench on the left side and crawl under the wood to find the Snow face paint.

Once you're out of the trench, there will be a guard standing on the other side of the fence by the barrel. You can shoot him through the fence.

Further on the left side of the map, there will be another guard. Shoot him.

Then there will be another guard behind you near the helicopter. Remove your weapons to grab this guard. You need to take him away from the helicopter. On the right facing the helicopter, the spot near the building (behind the wall and the fence) should be enough. He will also drop a grenade.

Nearby, there should be a storage room you can enter. Take the Ration, R.C Mate (Calorie Mate), and Mouse Trap.

Next, enter the building where you will see beds and crates. You can find a mouse trap under the bed next to the desk. And, you can find a Kerotan under the desk.

Now enter the next room inside the building. It kinda looks like a meeting room. There will be an exit door. Leave the building using that so that you can see the ladder on you left immediately. On the roof, you will find the Water uniform.

Once you got the uniform, head to the right and jump over. On the distance you'll see the Communications Building. Go inside to grab some LF Med, D Med, bandage, and antidote.

At the back of the Communications Building is the Ammunition Shed. You can find WP G, Stun G, TNT, Grenade, AK-47 bullets, and M1911A1 bullets. Equip the TNT then place it inside the shed. Leave the shed and make sure to keep your distance from it. Now blow it up like a mad man using the punch button. Now you have the "Just Because" trophy.

In the same way, you can also blow up the communications building and storage room. Blowing up these facilities will weaken the enemy defenses. If you're feeling up to it, you can also blow up the helicopter!

Head towards the path on the left facing the communications building to go to the next area, Bolshaya Past Crevice.

After the cutscene, move to the left a Ga-ko will be there and at the back, You'll find a Kerotan there.

After shooting the Kerotan, turn toward the vine-covered tree. Climb it to get a good view of Major Ocelot. Make sure to use non-lethal weapon on him. After the fight with him, a cutscene will play. A hornet swarm attacks Snake and the Ocelot unit. Major Ocelot escapes and Snake falls in a hole.
