Walkthrough
After you finish your battle with The Fear, head south. Just before the Warehouse door, set some mouse traps. In this area, it is possible to capture theTsuchinoko, a mythical snake from Japanese mythology. Acquiring it will give you theBelieve It or NotTrophy. This is not a guarantee, but if you are able to get the creature, DO NOT eat or get rid of it. Make sure it stays alive throughout the rest of your runthrough in order to get the Infinity Face Paint. You can also do a save where you eat the Tsuchinoko for the food collection and then reload in order to get the face paint.
Enter the Warehouse and stay inside until you hear the sound effects of the mouse traps activating. Check your loot before continuing back into Ponizovje Warehouse.
There are a number of enemies when you enter the warehouse. You can use a combination of camouflage and good timing using rolls to get past them, or you can use your tranquilizer gun to knock some of them out. There are a few supplies around the area, such as the rooms near the stairwell and the stairwell itself. Some items are also on top of the boxes but those are harder to get without being seen by the soldiers patrolling the area.
Get to the other side of the warehouse and up the stairs. Enter through the open door to reach Ponizovje Warehouse: Exterior. There are two guards to tranquilize/kill. Go into the water and swim to the main river area.
Swim down the river and take breaths as needed. Put on the Brown Face Paint if you have it since it allows you to swim without needing to intake air from above. By the end of the river, you will be able to get the Water Face Paint.
Return to the Warehouse and enter through the door beside the one you had just come from. Through here, you can enter the Svyatogornyj area.
EVA will call Snake and they hatch a plan for Snake to get to Dr. Sokolov. For now, there's one big obstacle - the legendary sniper, "The End".
After the call ends, turn around and aim at the wall above the door. There, you will find a Kerotan Frog. Shoot to collect!
Turn back around and at the bottom of the nearby tree, you will find Mushroom F . Proceed further and you will find a climbing tree. To its left, you will find a tree with Mushroom G to collect.
Between those two trees, on the higher terrain, you will be able to get a Ga-Ko.
Along that path, if you look above, you will see these elongated hanging objects on a string. Shooting them will give you vegetables . You can also pick up the book in the area. Stay on the path and you will eventually enter Svyatogornyj West .
This area is a large map. The boss fight will occur by entering the northside exit of the map, but there are a lot of weapons and supplies at the eastern area, as well as some food in this area so let's collect those first. Once you enter, head towards the left side. There is a fallen down tree and behind it is a tree with Mushroom B at its base.
Ahead is a climbing tree with a fallen log beside it. Above the left side of the log will be another Kerotan Frog.
Head back to where you had come from and now go towards the rightmost path. Look to your left side as you walk through the area. There should be a very tall stump and on it, you will see a Ga-Ko.
Now, let's go to the eastern exit. Navigate through the large area either by silencing enemies or killing them. Use the Thermal Goggles to have a better grasp of their positions so you can also sneak past them if possible.
At the end of the eastern path, there is a guarded cabin. There are three enemies - two that are patrolling outside and one inside the cabin, seen through the right window. Deal with them however you like. At the leftside window, there is another Kerotan Frog. On a cliff to the left of the cabin, you will see a Ga-Ko.
When you go inside the cabin, there will be a Film Reel in the room where one of the soldiers was in. If you go to the back room, different items can be found behind boxes, the most notable being the M63.
Return to Svyatogornyj West and head north to start the boss fight.SAVEbefore entering if you need to! When you do enter the area, there will a bird on a series of three logs. That is the pet of The End or Bird A , and The End will be very unhappy if you capture it...so of course, we have to! If you release the bird afterwards, however, it will fly towards The End and you can follow it to find him.
From the logs, proceed forward to the left path. You will find a warehouse that will not be of much use, but behind it is a Kerotan Frog. Across from the warehouse are cliffs where you will find a Ga-Ko.
Continue on the path you were on and exit to Sokrovenno North. Run forward and when you reach an opening, at the right side, nestled between the wall and a tree is another Kerotan Frog. Turn left and proceed forward, following the left wall.
Defeat The End! You can get a head start by sneaking the moment you return to Sokrovenno South. He will be crouched over on a cliff, facing away from you. If you keep a gun to his head for a bit of time, you will earn the trophyYou Snooze, You Loseand get the Moss Uniform. If you equip this and lie down on moss, you will get 100% Camo and be able to obtain the trophyA Good Man is Hard to Find.
The fight will use three maps so there is a large playing area to move around in. While The End will not try to kill you, you will be using a lot of Stamina in this fight due to his tranquilizers. It is also possible to avoid this boss fight altogether if you decide to kill The End earlier in the game while he was defenseless.
After dealing with The End, you will get the trophyThe End(orThe Early Endif you killed him earlier). If you defeated him by wearing down his stamina, you will get a Mosin-Nagant.
