If you can beat an S-rank boss, you can likely defeat them all.
Strategy
To beat The Sorrow, keep walking up the river. The more enemies you kill, the more ghosts you encounter. You need to dodge the ghosts until you reach the end of the river.
At the end of the game, you’ll find The Sorrow's corpse in the swamp. Approaching it triggers a jumpscare, leading to a game over for Snake. (This is intentional)
Use the Revival Pill to continue and complete the fight.
You can also call Major Zero by using the radio, as he may provide helpful hints on how to overcome the fight.
Quirky Strategy
Drown Yourself or throw a Grenade, then revive yourself with the pill to skip the boss fight.
Notes
The Sorrow's body is found at the river's end after the encounter. Using the Digital Camera to photograph his remains will reveal a ghostly image of one of the game's developers.
