Wrenwood Hotel (Grace) Quest Summary
Grace Ashcroft is investigating Raccoon City Incident and the Unidentified Disease at the FBI Midwest Field Office. She will then be tasked with going to the Wrenwood Hotel to inspect a related crime scene.
Wrenwood Hotel (Grace) Walkthrough
[1] Head to Wrenwood Hotel.
Following the opening cutscene, in which Grace is ordered to investigate the hotel where her mother died eight years ago, the gameplay officially begins.
To reach the Wrenwood Hotel, just keep heading straight! While the player completes this objective, the game provides a tutorial for the basic controls.

Continue ahead to reach the alley covered in police tape. This path leads directly to the crime scene.
[2] Investigate the Crime Scene.
Enter Wrenwood Hotel using the Employee Entrance and go through the Kitchen to arrive at the Lounge & Bar.

[3] Head to Room 204.
Use the Old Key to access the locked door in the Lounge & Bar. Keep walking to reach the Lobby.

Once the Key Items have been collected, walk to the end of the hallway and use the tools to open the Door leading to Room 204.
Search the room and inspect Photos of Grace.
[4] Escape from the Hotel.
A flashback follows where Grace and Alyssa are escaping the hotel. Continue following Alyssa to progress.
[5] Find what Alyssa hid.
Return to the present and head downstairs to the Lobby.

While checking the Journal, an Infected Police Officer suddenly attacks Grace! Complete the QTE by hitting the button prompts.

Run upstairs and use the key on the Emergency Exit found at the Rec Room.
Completing this ends Grace's first mission. The player then takes control of Leon for the next quest: "Elbridge (Leon)".
